Bolcit Barshep, the Managing Director, Anista Marketing and Events Limited, one of the organisers of the ongoing Jos trade fair, has said that seven countries are among other exhibitors taking part in the fair.
Barshep told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Jos that international exhibitors came from countries that include Pakistan, Indian, Egypt, Mali, Ghana and Sudan to participate in the fair.
She further revealed that the exhibitors were legal immigrants who have been certified by SON and NAFDAC.
Barshep said that the major products on exhibition by the foreigners were mostly kitchen equipment, health and food supplements, fabrics, clothing and fashion items and perfumes.
She expressed the desire that the fair would help strengthen bilateral relationships between the participating countries and Nigeria and also expose them to the culture of the people on the Plateau.
According to her, most of the exhibitors have hired the services of the local youths to help in the sale of their products which will in turn boost the internally generated revenue of the state.
She however called on citizens to come out en masse to patronise the fair which has affordable products which were of unique nature.
