Mesut Ozil might have had a largely underwhelming start to his Arsenal career, but he’s confident he’ll turn it around.
Indeed, he’s so confident, he is targeting winning the Ballon d’Or in the coming years.
The former Real Madrid man has had some ups since his £42.5million transfer, but has largely been considered a flop with a point to prove.
‘Should I continue to improve and stay fit, I want to get my hands on the Ballon d’Or in the coming years,’ he told Bild.
‘I am a world champion and play at a top club in the Premier League. I am convinced that it can work out.’
We’ve all got dreams…
