Friends and associates of Chief (Dr.) Perry Ekwunazu, aspirant to the Njaba State Constituency seat in the House of Assembly of Imo State, Nigeria, based in New Jersey, United States of America, on Sunday, May 27, 2018, gathered to hear him out and pledge their support for his aspiration.
The well attended meeting was held at the residence of Sir Charles Egeonu at 15 Litchfield Place, Springfield, New Jersey 07081.
The aspirant unveiled his vision for his constituency and for the state and speaker after speaker reassured him of the support of his friends and associates from New Jersey and other parts of America.
Dr. Ekwunazu, a United States based Pharmacist and philanthropist, is poised to seek the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the House of Assembly election in 2019.
A grassroots politician and founder of the Perry Ekwunazu Foundation, Dr. Ekwunazu has secured widespread endorsements for his aspiration, based on his vision, programmes and projects for his people.
He has also become popular through the activities of his Foundation which have positively touched the lives of people in his constituency and far beyond, and it is believed that he would do much more for the people if elected to represent his constituency.

Okems Innocent Okemezie, Honorable Commissioner, African Affairs, City of Newark, New Jersey, Judge Jude Nkama, Sir Chidi Durugo, Chief (Barrister) Jude Ezeala, Mazi Goddy Anah, Chief Francis Duru, (Deputy Coordinator, Campaign Committee), Chief Philip Ejikeme (Deputy Coordinator), and Chief (Hon.) Mark Emerenini (National Campaign Coordinator).
Others are Rev Father Peter Iwuala, Realtor Nnamdi Okoro, High Chief Titus Brown Osuagwu, Hon Cyriacus Agu, Hon. Alex Nnorom, Chief Sir Innocent Enwere and Hon. Victor Esemeonu, a member of the Campaign Committee.
Also present were Rev. Father Sabinus Iwuchukwu, US Attorney Chidi Egeolu, who presented the kolanut to his brother, the host, Sir Charles Egeonu, Sir Chidi Durugo (President General, Umuaka Development Union Tri-state of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut US).
