Gov. Ahmed appoints new aides

Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has approved the appointments of 10 new Special Advisers four Senior Special Assistants (SSA) and eight Special Assistants.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Isiaka Gold, made this known in a statement in Ilorin on Tuesday.

He said that the appointments were part Ahmed’s efforts to strengthen governance and promote inclusiveness.

Gold listed the newly appointed Special Advisers to include Alhaji Olokoba Sulyman, Hon. Emmanuel Bello and Mr Rasaq Jimoh.

Others are Alhaji Aliyu Salihu, Mr Tunji Moronfoye, Alhaji Ibrahim Abiodun, Chief Moses Adekanye and Mr Amusa Bello.

The new Senior Special Assistants are Mr Salihu Yahaya, Mrs Monsurat Omotosho and Hajia Aishat Sulu-Gambari .

The SSG also listed the new Special Assistants to include Halidu Danbaba, Tsado Manman, Mr Ige Olayiwola, Mr Sunday Ogunniyi, Mr Abdulkadir Aluko, Mr Lawal Olalekan, Mr Manzuma Kawu and Mr Issa Abdulrahman.

Gold congratulated the new appointees and charged them to see their appointments as a call to service.

The SSG also said in the statement that the newly appointed commissioners would be sworn-in on Wednesday at the Government House, Ilorin.
