Gov Ugwuanyi gives official endorsement for “the 2016 Legends Wrestle for Unity Festival” In Enugu

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has officially endorsed the 2016 Wrestle for Unity Festival being put together by The Ultimate wrestling Commander and his Charity Organization along with ace
wrestlers in honor of Nigeria’s heroes past.
The organization which is being headed by Ambassador Osita Offor, a former World Wrestling champion popularly known as The Ultimate Commander and some celebrities such as the veteran actress, Mrs.
Patience Ozorkwor, among others were at the Government House Enugu to get the governor’s blessing and intimate him with the details of the event.
While welcoming the group, Gov Ugwuanyi pointed out that the choice of Enugu State as venue for the festival was apt considering the fact that the state is a center of peace and was equally noted as a great
sporting center which had in the past hosted notable wrestling legends as Power Mike and Ali Baba of Lebanon.
Ambassador Offor expressed gratitude to the governor for giving them the platform to showcase an array of world renowned wrestlers who will be fighting for peace and unity of the nation, noting that Governor Ugwuanyi was a visionary leader who always puts God first in all his endeavors.
He stated that the governor would be expected to hand over the unity torch to the official bearers and to equally sign the award plaques that would be presented to the winners at the event.
The event is billed to take place in December and would be preceded by the lighting of the wrestling for unity torch that would tour places including Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
