Governor Ugwuanyi inaugurates Health Advisory Committee

The Enugu State governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has said that the provision of affordable healthcare for the people remains a cardinal objective of his administration.

Governor Ugwanyi who was represented by his deputy, Mrs Cecelia Ezeilo, at the inauguration of the Enugu State Health Advisory Committee added that it was in furtherance of that goal the body was established.

“Enugu State has high premium for the provision of adequate healthcare services to our people,” he said, expressing optimism that the members have the capacity to deliver creditably.

He charged them to let their diverse experiences gained over the years reflect in the outcome given the importance the government attaches to this assignment.

Speaking on behalf of the committee’s members, the chairman, Professor Edwin Nwobodo, thanked Governor Ugwuanyi for finding them worthy to serve and pledged the members’ determination to accomplish the lofty objectives.
