Pastor E. A. Adeboye prays for peace on the Plateau; Gov. Lalong commiserates with CAN on demise of Secretary Gen.

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has prayed for peace in Plateau State which has in recent times witnessed herds men’s attacks on farmers.

Pastor Adeboye said the prayers during a special programme of the Church in the state.

 The highly respected cleric spoke on the theme of the programme,  “Let the fire fall.”

Speaking during the service, Gov Simon Lalong of Plateau State commiserated with the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN on the death of its General Secretary, Dr. Musa Asake.
Lalong described Rev Asake as a courageous leader, and prayed that God will give the Christian community and the family, the grace to bear the pain of this great loss.
Governor Lalong, who was accompanied by some members of the state executive council to the church service, expressed the condolences of the government and people of Plateau State over the passage of Dr. Asake.
