RCCG’s Holy Ghost Congress 2017 begins; Theme: Songs of Victory

Pastor E. A. Adeboye

The 2017 Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, starts Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Redemption Camp, Kilometer 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The theme of the historic Congress is Songs of Victory and Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer, GO, of the RCCG, has said in his Welcome Address that from the theme, “you can be sure that God is about to do something in your life that will make you sing for joy all through this Congress and beyond.”

The Annual Congress started at the Lagos-Epe Expressway in 1998 and has since moved to the Camp Ground. The G.O and other Anointed Ministers of God would, as usual, be ministering to the millions who have started trooping into the Camp Ground and to the many more millions who will participate in the week long programme through the internet and at the viewing centres all over the world.

The opening session of Congress 2017 will start at 6.00pm on Monday, December 4, 2017 with Prayer and Intercession while Closing Prayers for the programme will be said between 10.00pm and 10.30pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

In-between, there would be prayers, praise and worship, discussion sessions and inspired talks by Anointed Ministers of God and tested professionals.

Some of the topics to be treated include – God is A Spirit, Victory Over Self, Songs of Joy, Victory Over Sickness and Diseases, The Great Restorer, Free Indeed, Victorious Prayers and Victims and Victors.

There would also be special prayer sessions, including prayers for breakthroughs, for the Education Sector, for Singles, Widows and the Apparent Barren, for the Family, the Church and the Nation.

There would also be discussion sessions centering on how to operate profitable retail business, preservation of agricultural produce, small scale vegetable farming, personal and family security, family finances in a depressed economy, marriage, prevention and management of stress, diet for good health and exploring new business opportunities in Info Tech (IT).

The programme will also feature Holy Communion Service, Deliverance Service and an Anointing Service.

Expectedly, for the millions that would come to the Redemption Camp and the many more that would participate through the internet and from viewing centres world over, there would be salvation of souls, divine healings, deliverances, miracles, signs and wonders and unspeakable joy for all.
