The NILS / UNIBEN 2016 / 2017 Matriculation & Fellowship Endowment Ceremony in colours

The Nigerian Institute of Legislative Studies, NILS and the University of Benin, UNIBEN, Thursday, October 12, 2017 held the NILS / UNIBEN 2016 / 2017 Matriculation & Fellowship Endowment Ceremony at the National Assembly, Abuja.

Pictures here capture the dignitaries that graced the event that was also used to honour past Senate Presidents and Speakers of the House of Representatives.

The Institute is headed by the Director General, Professor Ladi Hamalai and prominent among those who graced the event are Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, former Speaker of the House of Representatives and current Governor of the Katsina State, Hon. Aminu Masari, Prof. George Eriyamremu, who represented the Vice Chancellor of University of Benin and Senator Ibrahim Mantu.

Those awarded with Fellows of the NILS were former Presidents of the Senate,  Dr Joseph Wayas, Senator Ken Nnamani, former Speakers of the House of Representatives  Rt. Hon. Ghali Umar Na’Abba, , and Rt Hon. Aminu Bello Masari.
