The Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Super Six has been postponed indefinitely by the League board.
In a statement released on Tuesday, May 2, the NWFL board said it has been directed to postpone the forthcoming Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership Super 6.
The title playoff tournament was scheduled to take place in Asaba, Delta State from May 5 to 12, 2023 but that will no longer happen following Tuesday’s circular.

Modupe Shabi, Chief Operating Officer of the NWFL, while confirming the postponement said a new date for the Super 6 competition will be decided upon after the upcoming WAFU-B U20 Women’s Cup, holding from May 20 to June 3 in Kumasi, Ghana.
