The race for who qualifies for the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoffs will be decided on the final day of the regular season.
Five of six slots are up for grabs, with Bendel Insurance the only qualified team ahead of Matchday 18.
In group A, Gombe United (7) will host Akwa Utd (4), Shooting Stars (6) vs Enyimba FC (2) will play in Ibadan while, Remo Stars (3) are up against Kwara Utd (8) in Ikenne.
One of Akwa Utd, Enyimba FC and Remo Stars would miss the Super Six in Group A and so would push for wins on the last day.
With outstanding fixtures, Group B is dicey.
Defending Champions, Rivers United FC have outstanding games vs Sunshine Stars (4), Wikki Tourists (9) and vs Doma United (3)
The final week will pitch Enugu Rangers (7) vs Rivers United (2), Lobi Stars (1) vs Wikki (9), Abia Warriors (5) vs Doma Utd (3), Bayelsa Utd (8) vs Niger Tornadoes (6), while Sunshine Stars (4) vs Dakkada (10)
One of Rangers, Bayelsa Utd and Wikki Tourists will be relegated to join already relegated Dakkada FC.
In the battle for survival, Dakkada, Elkanemi Warriors, Nasarawa Utd confirmed relegation on MD17. Wikki Tourists have to win their remaining 2 games to stand a chance. MD18 will be fierce. You snooze, you lose.
