The Nigeria Professional Football League – NPFL board and club owners have reached agreement for the 2023/2024 season to kickoff on August 26.
This was part of resolutions at the NPFL board consultative forum with club owners on Thursday August 3 in Abuja.
As confirmed at the meeting, the format will be a full season for all 20 teams as against the abridged league in the 2022/2023 season.
Enyimba International FC are current champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League, and will do battle with 19 others for the title.
The games will be streamed live on a proposed NPFL live app for viewers around the World.
