The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won all three senatorial seats, Benue South, Kogi Central and Kogi East and all the three House of Representatives declared Sunday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kogi.
Also, PDP won all Assembly elections held in Taraba.
A breakdown of the election results in Taraba re-run i as follows:
House of Assembly
PDP 7,825
APC 5,642 .
House of Reps
PDP 37,645
APC 37,609
In the Kogi Central Senatorial re-run elections with:
PDP 45,468

Meanwhile, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) further weakened the strength of the PDP in Plateau State when its candidate, Mr Gideon Dashe, defeated Mr Itsifanus Mwansat of the PDP to clinch the Pankshin South constituency in the Saturday rerun election for the state House of Assembly.
But the PDP has vehemently rejected the result, describing the conduct of the election as a sham.
Similarly, Hon Alice Dimlong of the APC ran over Diket Plang of the PDP defeating him helplessly to retain Pankshin North constituency.
The Court of Appeal in Jos had in its judgment ordered INEC to conduct fresh elections in Nyelleng polling unit of Fier ward in Pankshin North and Pyabor polling unit in Chip ward of Pankshin South Local Government Areas.
The by-election at Nyelleng polling unit, which was held under tight security, was very orderly and peaceful devoid of rancour.
Dimlong had pulled 17, 320 votes to beat her PDP opponent, Mr Diket Plang, who got 16, 817 votes.
The Returning Officer for Pankshin North constituency, Dr Jeff Godwin of the University of Jos, who announced the result at the council chamber, declared Dimlong as the winner of the by-election.
