Ondo state Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, who solemnly marked his 61st birthday few days ago, has donated a place of worship to Owo Anglican communion.
The chapel built within his residence at the GRA in Owo, was dedicated by the Owo diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev James Oladunjoye.
At the ceremony, the Bishop described Mr. Akeredolu as a pride of the diocese, focused, disciplined and a man of integrity.
‘Governor Akeredolu has once again demonstrated that he is an evangelist that every christian should emulate. We as a church will continue to pray for him’, he added.
The Governor pointed out that the project was a dream fulfilled as building a chapel has been his quiet evangelical efforts at bringing people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Meanwhile, Governor Akeredolu will on Tuesday swear in the acting Chief Judge of Ondo state, Justice Olanrewaju Akeredolu in Akure. Justice Akeredolu succeeds Justice Tayo Osoba who has served out his tenure.
