Wike, NJC endorse extension of appointment of state’s Acting CJ, Customary Court of Appeal’s Acting President

The National Judicial Council (NJC), has recommended the extension of the appointment of the Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State, The Honourable Justice Daisy Okocha from 1st December , 2015 to 15th January, 2016.

Consequently, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has approved the extension of the appointment of the Honourable Justice Daisy Okocha as Acting Chief Judge of the state from 1st December, 2015 to 15th January, 2016.

In the same vein, the National Judicial Council has recommended the extension of the appointment of Honourable Justice Christy Gabriel-Nwankwo as the Acting President of Rivers State Customary Court of Appeal for an additional period of three months.

Following the recommendation of NJC, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has approved the extension of the appointment of Honourable Justice Christy Gabriel-Nwankwo as the Acting President of Rivers State Customary Court of Appeal for another three months.
