(Passages) Buhari’s spokesman, Ambode’s CPS lose loved ones

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina and the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, Mr. Habib Aruna, have lost loved ones.
While Mr. Adesina lost his older sister, a lecturer at the Department of Dramatic Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Professor Foluke Ogunleye, in an auto crash along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway, Mr. Aruna lost his father, Alhaji Adamson Aruna, who passed on, Monday, after a protracted illness at the age of 85.
Mr. Adesina confirmed the unfortunate incident to Global Patriot Newspapers.
The Public Relations Officer of OAU, Mr. Abiodun Olanrewaju, also confirmed the demise of Prof. Ogunleye, who was the Head of the Department of Dramatic Arts in OAU between 2006 and 2009; was popular for writing plays including “Nest in a Cage” and “Jabulile,” and was also the Executive Director, Ife International Film Festival.
A statement by Shina Odunuga, Public Relations Officer, Office of the CPS, Lagos, which announced the passage of Alhaji Aruna said that the respected community leader and astute business man worked and retired from the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan after having put in 35 years of active service as a staff of the institution’s Maintenance Department.
Until his demise, he was the Omorodion of Ivbiaroland, Auchi in Edo State and is survived by wives, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. According to his son, Mr. Habib Aruna, Alhaji Aruna was buried Tuesday according to Muslim rites.
