Some dignitaries that graced GOCOP’s 1st Annual Conference
The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP), last Thursday, August 10, 2017 held its 1st Annual Conference with the theme ‘Sustaining Growth through Diversification of the Economy,’ at The Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel, Isaac John Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
Pictures here show some of the dignitaries that graced the event, including former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, Group Chairman, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr Bayo Onanuga, Professor Akin Onigbinde and General Officer Commanding, 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Peter Dauke, who represented the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai .
The Director of Public Affairs, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Osita Nwajah, represented the Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, the Zonal Commanding Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Zone 2 Lagos, Mr Sheu Zak represented the Corps Marshal, Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi while the Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim was also well represented at the event which featured the inauguration of a new Executive Committee for GOCOP.
Corporate giants, Nigeria LNG, Dangote Group and Exxon Mobil were also well represented by key staff of the organisations. Mr Tony Okonedo, Manager, Communications and Public Affairs and Anne-Marie Palmer-Ikuku, Head, Media Relations of NLNG were present, Ogechukwu Udeagha, Manager, Media Relations, Mobil Producing Nigeria Limited, was on ground while Adedamola Adeniyi, Online Media Manager of the Dangote Group stood in for his bosses at the Conference.
