IGP orders arraignment of Falae abductors

The Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, has ordered the immediate arraignment in court of the suspected abductors of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Olu Falae.
In a statement released, Thursday, and signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Ag. ACP Olabisi Kolawole, the suspects will be tried in an Ondo Magistrate’s Court.
“After discreet investigations into the abduction of Chief Olu Falae and the subsequent arrest of the suspected kidnappers of the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon E. Arase, ordered the arraignment of the suspects in an Ondo Magistrate court,” said the statement.
The IGP, while commending his men for the quick arrest of the suspects, said the Nigeria Police ‘under his leadership will leave no stone unturned at ensuring that all criminals in the country are brought to justice.’
He therefore solicited Nigerians’ cooperation and partnership with the Police, saying ‘with credible and quick information, the job of protecting lives and property comes with ease.’
