When Ogbuehis of Umuariam Obowo celebrated departed Matriarch, Chief (Mrs.) Victoria Azuanuka Ogbuehi in grand style in USA

The Ogbuehis of Umuariam Obowo in Imo State, Nigeria, on Friday, November 11, 2022, put together a Celebration of Life ceremony that befits their great Matriarch, late Chief (Mrs.) Victoria Azuanuka Ogbuehi (nee Okonko).

On that special day, their family members, relatives, friends and associates from far and near joined them at the Commons Community Center, 1326 Main Chapel Way, Gambrills, MD 21054, United States of America (USA) to celebrate their departed beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.

There was plenty to eat and drink and much dancing and testimonies, all in remembrance of the colorful life and times of the departed Amazon who is noted for her philanthropy, wise counsel and love for peace.

The Celebration of Life will continue in Nigeria and lead to her burial on Friday, December 23, 2022, in Ichie Ugwunna Chief C.E Ogbuehi’s Country Home in Amorji, Nnachioma, Umuariam Obowo, after a Funeral Mass at Queen of Peace Parish, Umuariam Obowo at 01:00PM.

Born on June 30, 1943, Chief (Mrs.) Ogbuehi, passed on to glory at the age of 79 on May 27, 2022, and is survived by her husband, Chief Cornelius Ogbuehi, children, Chief Charles Chijindu Ogbuehi (son), Mr. MacMillan Chinedum Ogbuehi (son), Mr. Uchenna Magnus Ogbuehi (son), Barr Collin K. Ogbuehi (son), Ms. Anastina Chioma Ogbuehi (daughter), Mr. Chinenyeze Everest Ogbuehi (son), Eberechukwu Uzochi Kendra (daughter), Her Majesty Mrs.  Uloma Uwalaka nee Ogbuehi (daughter) and Emeana Kenneth Ifunanya nee Ogbuehi (daughter).

Daughters-in-law are Lolo Immaculata Uju Ogbuehi, Mrs. Kate Ngozi Ogbuehi, Mrs. Oyidiya Uche Ogbuehi, Oodera Ogbuehi and Mrs. Chioma Augustina Ogbuehi while sons-in-law are King Alaka Emeka Uwalaka and Mr. Emeana .C. Kenneth.

Late Chief (Mrs.) Ogbuehi’s grandchildren include Master Ikem Chilee Ogbuehi, Master  Dubem Chiemezuo Ogbuehi, Chikanma Maxmillan Ogbuehi, Kenard Chinaecherem Ogbuehi, Kamsiyochi Erinna Ogbuehi, Miss Ihuaku Daisy Ogbuehi, Miss Ihedinma Tricia Ogbuehi and Master Ihezie Raymond Ogbuehi.

Others are Master Malakai Chimdirim Ogbuehi-Stanley, Master Tochukwu Maxwell Ogbuehi, Miss Adanna Angelica Ogbuehi, Miss Nneka Jessica Ogbuehi, Miss Nkemdirim Jasmine Ogbuehi, Ogbuehi Yolanda Somunachim Adaugo, Master Chukwuemeka Wisdom Uwalaka, Master Chukwubuikem Praise Uwalaka, Master Prince Uzondu Uwalaka,  Princess Rolex Nwanyioma Uwalaka, Kenneth Somotochukwu Genesis, Kenneth Chisimidi Kendra and Kenneth Chibuenyim Jason.

The late Matriarch is also survived by many relatives and friends across the world who are mourning her passage but who have fond memories of the impactful life that she lived during her sojourn here on earth.
