Cleric extols Omo-Agege’s leadership virtues

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Senate President

The parish priest of St Jude Catholic Church, GRA Effurun, Delta State, Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Mark Ikeke has extolled the leadership virtues of the Deputy President of the Senate and Delta APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

Speaking on Sunday when the Deputy Senate President joined other parishioners at Mass, the cleric lauded the lawmaker for impacting positively on the lives of his immediate constituency in Delta Central and influencing projects to other senatorial districts of Delta South and Delta North respectively.

He commended Omo-Agege for breaking the jinx of not only being the first Urhobo Senator to be reelected, but also as the first senator from the area to become the nation’s Number Five Citizen.

He submitted that Senator Omo-Agege possesses rare leadership qualities among his peers.

While urging those in authority not to deprive others of their rights, Fr Ikeke commended the Delta APC Governorship candidate for his political strides in the state, noting that he has positively impacted the lives of his constituents and other parts of the state.

Reading from the book of Romans 8:31, Psalm 127, he said prayers alone can’t win our battles.

“You cannot run away from life’s battles. You must confront them. It is always better to confront life’s battles”, the cleric said.
