Security agencies must cooperate for effective service delivery — Army General

Brig.-Gen. Usman Bello, Commander, 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Benin, said on Monday that cooperation between security agencies was indispensable in the protection of lives and property, the Constitutional role of the agencies.

Receiving AIG Shola David, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 5, Benin, who paid him a courtesy visit, Gen. Bello said synergy between the agencies was essential to good inter-agencies relationships.

Gen. Bello assured the AIG of the continuous support of the Nigerian Army to the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in Edo for effective internal security operations.

Earlier, David thanked the brigade commander for his support to the Nigeria Police Force during the #ENDSARS protests.

He sued for continued synergy between the Nigerian Army and other security agencies.
