Nigeria Immigration Service top shots honor their own, Nnenna Mary Mbagwu at interment

Very senior officers of the Service and other personnel were on hand for the grand burial ceremony which also had in attendance dignitaries from all over the world.
The burial of the widely traveled and much loved retired Immigration Service top shot, who passed on at 66 on December 12, 2020, was preceded by a Christian Wake Keep, Lying-in-State and a Church Service, while a Reception in her honor took place after the interment.
The NIS top shots who represented the Service at the program spoke glowingly of their departed senior colleague who gave her all to the service of her fatherland. She was also accorded full Service burial protocols by NIS personnel.
All those that graced the occasion to bid the widely acclaimed philanthropist and lady with a golden heart a final farewell, and the many others who have been sending condolence messages to her family and to Whatsapp platforms associated with her siblings have had nothing but highly complimentary tributes and testimonies of how her life and career impacted positively the lives of many in Umuokoro, Umuariam, Obowo, Imo State, Enugu (where she grew up) and elsewhere in the country and beyond.
Adieu Nene!!!!
A POEM By Dr. Sussan
And her time on this Earth, is Over.
The lease she held on this tiny cubicle of refuge, has expired.
The process is completed.
She will return to the Ashes and dust from whence she had come,
BUT HER SOUL WILL SOAR HIGH UP, TO THE HEAVENS,
TO CLAIM HER SPECIAL ROOM IN OUR LORD’S FATHER’S HOUSE.
The room HE has prepared for HIS faithful.
Lord Have MERCY on her GENEROUS Soul
