Another Kano Rep-elect in trouble; With Police over alleged unlawful possession of firearm

The Kano State Police Command has invited Hon. Aliyu Sani-Madaki, member-elect, Dala Federal Constituency over alleged unlawful possession of a firearm.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa, made the disclosure in a statement issued to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the State Police Command under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Mr Muhammad Yakubu, invited Sani-Madaki and that “he is currently at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) undergoing an investigation.”
