US-based Uzoma Nwagwu, conferred Nze title of Aha Eji Aga Mba 1 of Udo Ezinihitte Mbaise

Secretary General, Ikoro Mbaise Global Forum, United States-based Chief Uzoma Nwagwu, has been conferred with the Nze title of Aha Eji Aga Mba I of Udo Ezinihitte Mbaise by HRH Eze Austen Ukachukwu Ohaeri, Udo Abia V of Udo Autonomous Community, Ezinihitte, Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria.

Besides the conferment of the Nze title, Chief Nwagwu was also admitted into the Eze-in-Council leadership cadre, all in recognition of his dedication to the service of Udo community, and his acclaimed wisdom and integrity.

At the colorful ceremony that took place on December 26, 2025, the wife of the honoree, Chief Mrs. Blessing Nwagwu was also honored with her own title, also in recognition of her contributions to the development of the community.

In a letter of congratulations to their Secretary General for the high honor bestowed on him, the Global President, Ikoro Mbaise Global Forum, Hon (Arc) Chuks Ikwu on behalf of the members of the Forum said: “The honor beautifully reflects your strength, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the service of Udo community, a testament not only of your achievements, but also of the trust, admiration, and confidence your people have in your wisdom and integrity.

“We note with interest that Great leaders are scarcely self-appointed, rather they are called into service, chosen because of their good character, dedication, and selfless acts of kindness. It is both an honor and a blessing to witness your installation. We salute your leadership, service to humanity, and unwavering commitment to the progress and well-being of our people already demonstrated in your earlier Chieftaincy title as ‘Aha Eji Aga Mba I of Obokwu Autonomous community by HRH Eze Canice Akujobi Osuagwu, Obo I of Obokwu, on December 29, 2023.
