Service of Songs for Prof. Mondy Gold’s late mother holds tomorrow, Saturday, May 16, 2026 in New Jersey, USA


The Service of Songs in honor of the late Ma Bedagbere Jennifer Gold (nee Ozikozi), the Amaokosuere of Torugbene, mother of Nigerian-born American academic and community leader, Professor ( Ambassador) Mondy Gold will take place tomorrow, Saturday, May 16, 2026 in New Jersey, United States of America (USA).
The Celebration of Life program for the highly respected mother, grandmother and great grandmother who passed on at the age of 114 will hold at the Abundant Grace Christian Center (The Newark Foursquare Church), 708 Bergen Street, Newark, NJ 07108 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Professor Gold is a foremost leader of the Ijaw people of Nigeria’s Niger Delta Region at home and in the Diaspora, and a recipient of the United States President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Professor Gold, on behalf of his family, at home and abroad, while inviting friends and associates to the Service of Songs program in New Jersey, has also coveted the prayers of all towards its success.
Professor Gold, Hon. Godknows Angele, Dr. John Ebi Gold and Dr. Bamu Hellen Gold-Tabai, on behalf of the family have also announced the dates for the burial program of their beloved Matriarch as June 12 to 14, 2026, noting that further details will be communicated accordingly.
