Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, one-half of the defunct P-Square music group, has thanked fans for their support as he continues his solo music journey.
The “I Love You” crooner expressed his appreciation in a post on his verified X handle, thanking fans for their messages, streams, shares, prayers and words of encouragement in his solo career.
He wrote: “To every single person who has supported me on this journey so far, I want to say a very big THANK YOU.
“Every message, stream, share, prayer, and word of encouragement means more to me than you know. I see you, I appreciate you, and I’m truly grateful.
“This journey is ours together.”
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr P and his twin brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, were members of the defunct music duo P-Square.
The feud between the pair began in 2017, leading to a five-year split, before they surprised fans with a reunion in November 2021.
However, the reunion was short-lived as the group parted ways again in 2024, because of renewed disputes involving their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, over allegations of financial misappropriation.
Since the latest split, Mr P and Rudeboy have continued their respective solo music careers, with both artistes releasing music and performing separately.
