In a condolence message to the President, Governor Ortom said the death of the legal luminary has denied Nigeria of his sterling qualities at a time his services are needed to drive the Change Agenda of the present administration.
A statement by Terver Akase, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said that the Governor described the late Chief James Ocholi as a patriotic and humble Nigerian who sought to build bridges of development for his state and the country at large.
Governor Ortom said the President and all Nigerians should take solace in the fact that Chief Ocholi’s 55 years on earth were meaningfully spent in the temple of justice as a peace advocate and democrat who was committed to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He prayed God to grant the Ocholi family, the people of Kogi State and all Nigerians the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant the gentle soul of the late Minister eternal rest.
