The reception, which was hosted by Chief Dike Ogbuehi (Dike Abia) and his family in West Orange, was a joyous occasion with many recollections of old times, plenty of food and drinks, with questions and answers in between, concerning how the Labour Party (LP) legislator, his fellow members of the House of Assembly and the LP Governor of the state, Dr. Alex Otti have been steering the ship of the state.
Hon. Obioma, who attended the reception with his wife and children, gave a good account of the stewardship of the LP government in the state so far and reassured that better days are still ahead for the people of the state.
Before the reception in Chief Ogbuehi’s house Hon. Obioma, his host, Dike Abia, and some others had gone to visit an Elder from the state, Chief Dan Okengwu.
Some of the personalities that received Hon. Obioma, aside Chief Ogbuehi, his wife, Lolo Maureen Ogbuehi, their children, and Chief Okengwu and his family, include Prince Anosike, the President General, Ohuhu Welfare Union, New Jersey Branch, Sir (Architect) Linus Korieocha, Mazi Magnus Adighije and Sir (Barr.) Law Ibe.
Others are Barr. Emmanuel Aghachukwu, Professor Ehiabuche and Dr. Benson Njoku.
Pictures here show some of the personalities that graced the reception in Chief Ogbuehi’s residence, and the visit to Chief Okengwu.
