Africana Institute, Essex County College, holds Juneteenth Reflection today

The Africana Institute of the Essex County College (ECC), Newark, New Jersey, United States of America (USA), is holding a Panel Discussion, Essex County College JUNETEENTH REFLECTION today, June 15, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm.

The Panelists for the Discussion, which will hold at the Seigler Hall of the College are Steve Williams of the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation, Angela R. Garretson of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Lawrence Hamm of the People’s Organization for Progress and Wendell Hassan Marsh of Rutgers Newark.

The program will be moderated by Dr. Akil Kokayi Khalfani, Director of the Africana Institute of Essex County College and there will be, on the sidelines of the Discussion, an Art Exhibition, which will run from today, June 15, 2023, to June23, 2023 at the ECC Gallery.

All are invited to the program.
