The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has slammed those circulating an old video of an interview granted by the National Chairman of APGA, Ozonkpu Dr Victor Ike Oye, to Channels Television, describing them as “social media hirelings and e-thugs.”
APGA, in a statement by Nnanna Nzewi, Head Admin, APGA New Media, titled “RE: Ozonkpu Oye’s Interview On Channels Television, Setting The Records Straight,” confirmed that the interview was granted before Mr. Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State joined the Labour Party and became its presidential candidate, stressing that APGA as a party is committed to the realisation of a Nigerian Presidency of Igbo extraction.
The statement therefore warned all “the mischievous and unscrupulous elements trending the said interview as a new video to desist forthwith” as APGA is “resolute and focused” on the Igbo Presidency project, stressing that the party “will not allow these mischief makers and hagiographers circulating the video to have their way,” insisting that “their sole aim is just to foment trouble.”
