Arase approves 4 new postings in Nigeria Police

In his bid to further reposition the Nigeria Police Force for greater efficiency, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase has approved the posting of four senior officers including that of Chintua Amajor-Onu, who is now the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in-charge of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

Others are:  Dan’Azumi Job Doma to DIG in-charge of Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), FHQ Abuja; Kakwe Christopher Katso to DIG in-charge of Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department (FCIID), Abuja; and Jubril Olawale Adeniji, to DIG in-charge of Department of Research and Planning, FHQ Abuja.

According to a statement by CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, the postings are with immediate effect.

The statement also added that DIG  Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe, DIG in-charge of Department of Logistics and Supply, FHQ Abuja,  DIG Saliu Argungu Hashimu, DIG in-charge of Department of Training and Development, FHQ Abuja  and DIG Sotonye Leroy Wakama, DIG in-charge of Department of Operations, FHQ Abuja will ‘maintain their duty posts.’
