Armed Forces Day: Imo Speaker hails Uzodimma’s security commitment amidst paucity of fund

The Speaker, Imo House of Assembly, Mr. Kennedy Ibeh, has commended Gov. Hope Uzodinma for his firmness in tackling security challenges in the state, despite paucity of funds.

 Ibeh gave the commendation on Saturday at the 2022, Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration in Imo.

He said the governor had shown great capacity in protecting lives of residents of the state.

“The governor has shown that he is a true chief security officer of the state by rising up to tackle the security issues.

“In doing this, the governor has immensely supported security agencies in their operations in Imo and has proven to be the father of all,” he said

The Speaker also commended Uzodimma for being supportive to families of the fallen heroes in the state.

“While I commiserate with families of the security men who paid the supreme price in an effort to preserve the security of the state, I want to specially thank the governor for supporting the deceaseds’ families both morally and financially.
