Lady Nneoma Ezinne Rose Onyeoma Nwosuagwu passes on to glory; Family releases burial programme

The family of Sir Engineer S. N. Nwosuagwu of Ehume Umuopara in Umuahia South Local Government Area (LGA) of Abia State, Nigeria has announced with great pain, but with total submission to the will of God, the passing onto glory of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunty and sister, Lady Nneoma Ezinne Rose Onyeoma Nwosuagwu (nee Mgbemgbe).
Born in 1943, the rare gem and widely travelled virtuous woman went to be with her Maker this year at the age of 80, leaving behind her husband, Sir Engr. Nwosuagwu and their children and grandchildren, as well as other relatives, friends and associates across the world.
The renowned Nurse, acclaimed philanthropist, community and church leader is being mourned by many all over the world who she impacted positively in her life time.
According to funeral arrangements released by the family, there would be Service of Songs in honour of their departed Matriarch on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 5pm to 9pm at the Methodist Church Ehume Umuopara Umuahia.
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 10am, the body would leave City Gate Medical Services, Aba Road (Afaraukwu) Umuahia North LGA, Abia State and arrive her husband’s compound in Ehume Umuopara Umuahia by 10.45am for Lying in state.
At 11.45am same Saturday, January 27, 2024, the Funeral Service will commence at Ehume Community Primary School, and interment will follow immediately after the Funeral Service.
There will be an outing Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 10am at the Methodist Church Ehume Umuopara Umuahia, Abia State.
Also as part of the elaborate final transition programme in honour of the late leader of many, a Service of Songs and Celebration of Life event will be held in London, the United Kingdom (UK) on January 13, 2023 from 5pm to 10pm.
The event, being put together by Uzoma Victoria Nwosuagwu-Ibe (daughter) and Henry Ibe (son-in-law) to honour the late mother of sons and daughters and grandmother of many, will hold at 560 London Road (by Credo Way) West Thurrock, Essex RM20 3BJ.
Dignitaries from all over the world are expected to be part of all the programmes in honour of Lady Nwosuagwu, in Nigeria, in the UK and other parts of the world, in recognition of the glorious and impactful life that she lived and the lasting legacies that she left behind.
