PORT HARCOURT

The city of Port Harcourt is bracing for a massive spiritual convergence as the highly anticipated “Prayer Storm 2026” prepares to debut in the second week of the new year.

Scheduled to run from Monday, January 12, 2026, through Sunday, January 18, 2026, this major interdenominational gathering promises to be a landmark event for the region. The daily sessions will commence at 4:00 PM at the expansive Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Field in Rumuola, a venue chosen to accommodate the expected surge of worshippers.

Anchored on the theme “A New Realm,” the event features a distinguished roster of spiritual leaders and preachers from across the nation.

Attendees will have the opportunity to receive ministration from revered fathers of faith, headlined by the renowned Bishop David Abioye and Pastor Isaac Oyedepo. A powerful lineup of ministers, including Apostle Michael Orokpo, Pastor Samson Ajetomobi, and Pastor Emmanuel Okolo, will join them.

Also ministering during the week-long spiritual exercise are Pastor Ayuk Raymond Ayuk, Pastor Soji Oni, Pastor Sampson Kpandei, and Pastor Salvation Oziri.

“Prayer Storm 2026” is powered by the collaborative efforts of the Cast Your Cares Foundation and the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Rivers Family. According to the organizers, the event is open to the public. It is designed as a period of intense spiritual intercession, worship, and divine encounter for individuals and families from all walks of life.

To facilitate easy access for the large crowds expected at the Rumuola venue, the organizers have announced that free buses will be available to convey worshippers to and from the crusade grounds daily.
