Black Women/Black Men discussions hold at Essex County College, Newark, New Jersey, Thursday

Black Women and Black Men will be coming together Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the Africana Institute of Essex County College, Newark, New Jersey, United States of America (USA) to “sit down and dissect prevalent issues within the African American community.”

Tagged “Black Women/Black Men Discussions,” the host of the program, Cynthia Agu, Africana Institute, & African/Black Student Alliance said, according to the notice, that the participants at the program would be “Engaging in conversations surrounding the African-American community.”

The event would hold at the Africana Institute (on the second floor) and there will be light snacks and refreshments, the notice assured.

Dr. Akil Khalfani is the Director of the Africana Insitute of Essex County College while Dr. Augustine Boakye is President of the iconic College.
