Brig. Gen. Chijioke (CJ) Okafor becomes Supreme Secretary, Knights of St John International

Following the retirement of Lt General Tom Zdanowicz as Supreme Secretary, Knights of St John International on August 1, 2020, Brig. Gen. Chijioke (CJ) Okafor has been elected by the Supreme Executive Board of Directors as the Interim Supreme Secretary.

Lt Gen. Zdanowicz had sent in his letter of retirement which was forwarded to the Supreme President, Gen. Frank Waseleski Sr., and the Supreme Executive Board of Directors of the Knights of St John International.

For his dedication and exemplary services to the Order and to the Church, the Supreme President awarded and designated Lt Gen. Zdanowicz ‘’Supreme Secretary Emeritus’’.

The Board accepted his retirement, thanked him for his exceptional services and elected an able, hardworking and trusted hand in the person of Brig. General Chijioke (CJ) Okafor as the Interim Supreme Secretary.

He has since accepted the position and assumed duty. Congratulatory messages, best wishes and prayers have been pouring in for Brig. Gen. Okafor, for God to guide, guard and protect him as he carries out the onerous task of manning the KSJI secretariat as the Supreme Secretary, Knights of St John International.
