The Super Eagles’ early exit at the just-concluded 4th African Nations Championship in Rwanda meant no Nigerian player made the list of the Chan team of the tournament.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) released the starting XI which had four players from champions Democratic Republic of Congo.

Chisom Chikatara, the most outstanding Super Eagles player at the tournament, could only make the substitutes bench.

Tournament top scorer and MVP of the championship Mechack Elia, who scored four goals and made two assists headlined a strong eleven that has Sekou Koita of Mali, Cheick Ibrahim Camara and N’Guessan Serve.
