EFCC Chairman, Magu, meets Professor Wole Soyinka

Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu met with Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka in Lagos, Wednesday evening, to discuss the challenge of corruption in Nigeria and how to grapple with the hydra-headed monster.
At the meeting, the EFCC Chairman revealed that funds looted from the country in the last five years was enough to service three annual budgets of the country, assuring that he would do all within his powers to bring all involved to answer for their crimes.
Professor Soyinka, who, according to sources at the meeting, had jokingly said that when he heard about the visit, he thought the EFCC Chairman was coming to invite him over the infantile allegation of the Rivers State Commissioner for Information, said he would give the EFCC Chairman every support to ensure that he succeeds.
