Ekiti at 25, Nigeria at 61: Hon. Faparusi congratulates Gov. Fayemi, Ekiti people; Urge Nigerian leaders to embrace fairness, equity, justice

Hon. Engr Bamidele Faparusi, Commissioner for Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Ekiti State, has congratulated the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and Ekiti state people worldwide on the Silver Jubilee anniversary of the creation of the state, the Land of Honour.

Hon. Engr. Faparusi, a former House of Representatives member, sent the congratulatory message to mark Ekiti State’s 25^th anniversary and the celebration of Nigeria’s 61^st Independence Day anniversary.

He said: “Let me congratulate H. E Dr. Kayode Fayemi CON and Ekiti-kete home and abroad on the occasion of our 25th anniversary as a federating state.

“While Nigeria is struggling to attain nationhood, I implore our leaders to embrace fairness, equity and justice without which our struggle to attain nationhood will be endless.”

He also urged “everyone to continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of our motherland,” while wishing all compatriots a happy celebration.
