Against the backdrop of the many political, economic and social challenges that have been confronting Nigeria and threatening its very existence, a group of distinguished patriots will come together on Saturday, June 24, 2023, to brainstorm on ‘How to Promote Sustainable Unity and Economic Democracy” in the country.
The platform will be an International Conference on Economic Democracy in Nigeria and the Special Guest Speakers include frontline legal practitioner, former Senator and one-time Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Hon. Kanu Godwin Agabi, SAN CON and Northern Leaders Forum Spokesman and former Secretary, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed.
Other Special Guest Speakers at the virtual Conference that would commence at 12:00 PM (EST); 5:00PM in Nigeria are former Acting Chairman, INEC, Princess Amina Zakari, and His Excellency, Ambassador (Dr.) Godknows Boladei Igali (OON), the Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Akure, and Secretary, Board of Trustees, BOT, Pan-Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF.
The Conference is being called by the Global Nigeria Diaspora Forum in collaboration with the Collaborative Council of Nigerians in Diaspora, International Institute of Experts on Political Economy and Administration, Friends of Democracy, and African Diaspora for Good Governance (ADGG), and will be moderated by Dr. (Barr) Ebi Johnny Okorodas (UK) and Dr. Kelechi Lawrence USA).
