Ethiopia have named a 25-player Women’s National team squad that will face Nigeria in a Paris 2024 Olympics Qualifier on the 25/30th of October, 2023.
Ethiopia and Nigeria will lock horns in a Paris 2024 Olympics second qualifying round clash over two legs.
As scheduled by the Confederation of African Football – CAF, the first leg will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on October 25, before the return leg on the 30th of October, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
In the first qualifying round, Nigeria’s Super Falcons were drawn bye while Ethiopia thrashed Chad 10-0 on aggregate to reach the second qualifying stage.
Ahead of the match, Nigeria named a 22-player squad dominated by 2023 FIFA World Cup Falcons, prominent amongst them, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Asisat Oshoala , Michelle Alozie, Ifeoma Onomunu, Toni Payne and 18 others.
With less than a week to the first leg, Ethiopia have unveiled their squad.
