Newark City Mayor, Hon. Ras J. Baraka’s Governorship aspiration will receive a big boost on Saturday, April 26, 2025, when the African & Caribbean Political Action Committee (ACPAC) hosts a Diaspora Business Award Gala in his support.
Hon. Baraka is aspiring to be Governor of New Jersey on the Democratic Party platform at the expiration of the tenure of Governor Phil Murphy, and already, he is believed to be attracting substantial followership from a broad coalition of New Jersey residents.
The ACPAC Award Gala, which is expected to be fully subscribed, will take place from 6:00PM at the Robert Treat Hotel, 50 Park Place, Newark, New Jersey, NJ 07102.
Hon. Baraka will be the Special Guest at the event, which will be attended by the Who-is-Who in the business, political and social circles of New Jersey, as well as by supporters of his aspiration from across the United States and beyond.
The African and Caribbean voting bloc in New Jersey are already lining up strongly behind Hon. Baraka, and this significant support is expected to be evident from the turn out at the Award Gala on Saturday.
