Ezinne Elizabeth Korieocha passes on at 93

The Korieocha family of Amuzi Obowo, Imo State, Nigeria have announced the demise of the matriarch of the family, Ezinne Elizabeth Korieocha.

In a statement, the family said that she died at the age of 93 of age related conditions.

A devout Christian, community leader and philanthropist, Ezinne Korieocha is survived by children, including Architect (Sir) Linus Korieocha, Mr. Cletus Korieocha, Mrs Franca Iroegbu and Mrs. Angela Okafor; daughters-in-law, Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Korieocha and Mrs. Roseline Korieocha, sons-in-law, Mr. Jude Iroegbu and Mr. Ambrose Okafor, as well as many grandchildren.

Her grandsons include Okey Korieocha, Nnadozie Korieocha, Uchendu Korieocha, Muka Korieocha, Carl Korieocha, Uche Korieocha, Ekene Korieocha, Ifeanyi Korieocha, Chukwuma Iroegbu, Ozioma Iroegbu, Chukwudi Iroegbu and Johnson Okafor while her granddaughters are Uloma Arunta, Amaka Amaefule, Chinwendu Eluwa, Peace Korieocha, Erica Korieocha, Chioma Korieocha, Linette Korieocha, Kelechi Korieocha, Adanna Korieocha, Senita Abigail Chioma Iroegbu, Chidinma Iroegbu  and Chinonso Okafor.

Ezinne Elizabeth Korieocha also has great grand children, and many relatives and friends across the world.

A Committee of Friends, headed by Multiple Chief Kelechi Onyegbule, based in New Jersey, United States of America has already been set up.

Condolence messages have been pouring in to the family, celebrating the life and times of the good mother and burial arrangements will be announced at a later date by the family.
