Gombe State Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee, Malam Kabiru Ibn Muhammad has commended the Gombe State Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, for approving N5 million pocket allowance for the State’s contingents undergoing Police Constabulary training in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
In a chat with our correspondent, Malam Kabiru said the Governor’s assistance was worthy of commendation since it will greatly assist the contingents during their eight weeks training.
According to him, the 550 Gombe state police constabularies were full of joy with the gesture accorded them by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
The Gombe PCRC Chairman had, in company of authorities of the State Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation headed by the Acting Director, Administration and Finance Alhaji Jidaya Abba followed up on the constabularies and conveyed the Governor’s token.
In early October 2020, Governor Inuwa Yahaya had directed the release of 18 buses by the new Gombe line Transport company which conveyed the state constabularies to Jos for the commencement of the two months basic course at the police Training School Jos.
