The Governor said besides Eket Senatorial District being the first beneficiary of the regional market, similar market projects would also be established in Uyo and Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Districts, as part of his administration’s industrialization drive.
He said the state government under his leadership is determined to create wealth and employment through sustainable economic and industrialisation programme.
Emmanuel said time has come for all to partner the government with innovative ideas that would lift the country from the current economic doldrums rather than distract the focus of the administration by gingering ethnic bigotry.
The Governor promised the Women of availability of funds through a Micro Credit Scheme to enable them access funds, secure the market stalls as well as grow their businesses.
