United States of America (USA) trained Attorney, Dr Charles Chibuike Onyirimba has declared his interest in running for the Governorship position in Imo state on the platform of Labour Party (LP).
His declaration, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, according to a statement by Ugochukwu Gregory Onwumere, Media Director, Attorney Dr Charles Onyirimba Campaign Organization, took place at the Labour Party State Secretariat, Owerri and had in attendance all members of the Party’s State Working Committee and party leaders from across the state.
The State Chairman of the party, Dr Ambrose Onyekwere in his speech at the occasion, assured Attorney Onyirimba and his team that his leadership will grant all aspirants a level playing ground and that the party will promote the image of all aspirants without preference.
Attorney Onyirimba, while addressing Imolites present, assured them of his readiness to salvage the State when elected Governor. He insisted that he is not aspiring for the position for selfish interests, noting that his aspirations are divinely motivated.
Speaking to newsmen after the event, Attorney Charles reiterated his commitment to ensuring a better life for the elderly, empowerment for the youths, using a model which he termed CLUSTER PROGRAM and improving the educational and health care systems of the state, and many more.
The very impressive declaration was witnessed by many stalwarts of the party, both youths and the elderly, all of who spoke glowingly about the sterling leadership qualities of Attorney Onyirimba and pledged to work for his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate.
The aspirant made a well heralded entrance into the party office for the declaration and is expected to hit the ground running towards clinching the party’s ticket for the upcoming governorship race for the state.
