Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (GCON), has played host to the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations (DSG UN), Dr. Amina Jane Mohammed GCON, who celebrated her birthday in Geneva, yesterday, June 27, 2024.
Dr. Okonjo-Iweala, who marked her landmark birthday recently, in an X (former twitter) post, expressed joy that her “hardworking younger sister” was with her in Geneva on her birthday.
“Happy birthday to my hardworking younger sister @AminaJMohammed. Nice to have you in Geneva with me on your birthday!,” she wrote.
Mohammed, a former Nigerian Minister of Environment, from 2015 to 2016, who is serving as the fifth Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, from the broad smiles on her face, must have had a memorable birthday.
