Gov. Ugwuanyi swears in Prof. Okwueze as Deputy Chief of Staff

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, on Wednesday, swore in Prof. Malachy Ikechukwu Okwueze, as his Deputy Chief of Staff.

Prof. Okwueze’s appointment was announced last week by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya.

The new Deputy Chief of Staff, until his appointment, was the Vice Chancellor of Coal City University, Enugu. He is a first class degree holder in Religion and best graduating student of the University of Nigeria, 1986/87 set. He also has a Bachelor of Law Degree and Master of Law Degree, both from the University of Nigeria.

Responding after he was sworn in, Prof. Okwueze expressed appreciation to Gov. Ugwuanyi for finding him worthy to be part of his team “that has been working for peace and good governance in Enugu State”.

The erudite scholar promised to discharge his duties diligently for the progress of the administration in particular and the state in general.
