New Jersey-based High Chief Charles Ugo Eke, family lay sister to rest

A member of the Governor Mikie Sherrill Transition Team and leader of the Nigerian-American community in New Jersey, United States of America (USA), High Chief Charles Ugo Eke and his family, have laid to rest their sister, Mrs. Patricia Ngozi Celestine Egbim (nee Eke).

Mrs. Egbim transited to glory on August 7, 2025 and was committed to mother earth on Monday, December 29, 2025 at her father’s compound, at Umuaga Nguru Ngor Okpala, Imo State, Nigeria, after lying-in-state.

Family members, friends and relatives from far and near were part of the colorful internment program with many of these present mourning the demise of the much loved sister who lived a life that positively impacted many in the community and far beyond.
