Nigeria 3-0 Togo: Iheanacho, Musa on target as Super Eagles swallow the Hawks

Leceister City’s Ahmed Musa and Manchester City’s Kelechi Ihenacho were on target as the Super Eagles swallowed the Hawks in Thursday’s friendly encounter in France.

While Ahmed Musa scored a brace Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive run in the Super Eagles jersey making it his 7th goals in 8 games.

Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi also impressed with two assists as the Super Eagles raced into a 3-0 lead on only 27 minutes.

Musa put Nigeria ahead on three minutes, tapping into the net after the goalkeeper spilled Iwobi’s cross.

The Leicester frontman then double his account 14 minutes later via another Iwobi assist as Nigeria started in confident mood.

Manchester City striker Iheanacho, wanted by West Ham, then scored a third on 27 minutes.

Nigeria’s next match will be an AFCON qualifier against South Africa in Uyo on June 10.
